I recommend using the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-0800 with your 2022 Keystone Hideout 175BH. The Reese Pro Round Bar Weight Distribution # RE34FR will be quickly overloaded as it is only rated for 200-600lbs of tongue weight. With your Hideout weighing 485lbs dry the 20lbs of propane along with a 48lb Battery # BRW34FR will put you at 553lbs. Since the storage is also on the front you will want to go with a system like the e2 # FA92-00-0800 with a rating of 400-800lbs of tongue... view full answer...
If I personally had to choose between an Equal-i-zer or a Curt TruTrack weight distribution system, I'd choose the Equal-i-zer every time. Hands down. No contest, no comparison.
Why? Here's why:
1) Equal-i-zer only makes weight distribution systems. It's their bread and butter, their only line of business. They've been doing it for over 70 years and the quality and performance of the product is absolute proof they know what they're doing.
2) Curt is also a long time player in the towing... view full answer...
If you are replacing your brake shoes I recommend upgrading to the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit # K23-478-479 this will eliminate the need for you to manually adjust your brakes every 3,000 miles. Since they self adjust it will also give you a better more consistent brake feel throughout the life of the brake shoes.
If you prefer to keep your current Brakes # K23-462-463-00 you will need the Replacement 10" x 2-1/4" Electric Brake Shoes # BP04-095 for each side of your... view full answer...
For your 2016 Keystone Hideout 29BKS, I recommend going with the Bulldog Powered Drive Trailer Jack - Drop Leg - A-Frame - 22" Lift - 4,000 lbs - White # BD500200. This includes 3 LED lights making it easy to set up at night and the built-in level has springs for simple, accurate leveling. With the drop leg and 22 inches of lift, it is an ideal choice for just about any trailer. view full answer...
We have 2,000 lb axle trailer leaf springs like the # 072-017-00 but to pick out the correct ones for your Keystone I'd need to know what length of leaf springs you need which you'd have to measure without a load on the springs. These are 21 inches long. The part # e84SR is 20-3/8 inches long, and # SP-113275 is 23-1/2 inches long. view full answer...
In order to determine what vent cover replacement is needed for your 2008 Keystone Hideout Travel Trailer you will just need to identify the hinge type.
For example, if you have a closed continuous hinge, you can use the Metal Low Profile Replacement Cover # BV0534-00,
Or,
If you have a continuous hinge that is not closed, you can use the Replacement Dome Assembly for Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent # BVD0449-A03,
Or,
If you have a 4-point hinge, you can use the Camco Replacement... view full answer...
I can definitely help point you in the right direction. Axles and hubs are not custom fit, so we do not have a way to know axle/hub specs just by looking up a year, make and model. If only it were so easy right?
That being said, the online owners manual for a 2015 Keystone Hideout 27DBS shows a GVWR of 7,865 lbs and a body width of 96". So it stands to reason that you likely have a pair of 3,500 lb axles underneath.
Our 3.5K axles come in either a 89" long # e43SR, or a 95" long # 7359765-EB.... view full answer...
Yes. The keypad operation on the Global Link Ultra E Pro # 295-000183 can be locked and unlocked using the keypad. In order to get two of these keyed alike, you will simply select the "Keyed Alike" option from the dropdown menu on the product page. This lock is also available in a left hand facing model with part # 295-000185.
I've linked our review video of these locks that shows how the keypad operation works on these, where it demonstrates how to lock and unlock using the keypad. view full answer...
The Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System part # C17501 will work perfectly with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C14002 you have installed on your Ford F-150 as long as the total tongue weight (TTW) of your loaded ready to tow trailer plus any weight stored behind the rear axle of your truck is between 1,000 lbs - 1,500 lbs. If your TTW is not within this range please let me know what your TTW is and I would be glad to recommend a weight distribution system better suited for you... view full answer...
I spoke to the technical department for the Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly # TVXL25 for which the Replacement 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # TVHB25 is designed for and they said that it has not been updated in at least 5 years.
I believe it may have been a previous model trailer dolly that had the issues you are referring to. view full answer...
Adding an electric jack to the tongue of your 2016 Keystone Hideout BHWE is going to take the headache out of manually cranking it up or down when loading it or unloading it from the vehicle.
I recommend Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack - Drop Leg - A-Frame - 2 inch Lift - 5,000 lbs - Black
Item # JET-5000.
This jack is designed for A-Frame trailers with a 5000 lb weight capacity. Bolt on application. Has a total of 23 inches of lift. 18 inches of travel on the main tube and a... view full answer...
The Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # AKEBRK-35 comes with two braking assemblies (one left and one right) which is enough for one axle. Therefore, if you have tandem axles and want to replace all braking assemblies you will need to order a quantity of two. Please note, the above features manual adjustments which means you must turn the star wheel every so often for even brake pad wear. If you don't want to have to worry about this then go with self-adjusting, the Electric Trailer Brake... view full answer...
When it comes to checking your retract/extend functions not working it sounds like you may just need to swap some wiring on the back. I will attach picture of the wire swaps. It sounds funny but per the manfuacturer that does seem to help. If that doesn't work I would recommend purchasing the new replacement head # LC285160.

By far the best cover for your 2018 Keystone Hideout 26RLSWE travel trailer for cold, wet, snowy weather is the Classic Accessories PolyPro III Deluxe Travel Trailer Cover # 052963735635.
The PolyPro III Deluxe cover is the one best designed to offer protection against all the elements, including snow. The reason is because of its three top layers of fabric which will keep your Keystone Hideout as clean as possible.
The cover is also vented so the heavy winds common on frigid climates... view full answer...
Yes, the 12V PWM Filter for RV Backup Camera Systems # VGR64VR will allow you to use the Furrion Camera System # FOS05TASF on your trailer pulled by your 2020 Mercedes Benz GLE 350. This is designed to remove the Pulse Width Modulator power and give the camera the 12-volt constant power it needs.
We also have the 7-Way Vehicle Power Adapter # FR87PR from Furrion that plugs in line of the 7-way if you would rather not splice into the wiring on your trailer. view full answer...
The Camco RV Refrigerator Vent Cover - Top Only # CAM42160 has a second set of mounting holes at 4-1/8" x 23-1/2". I recommend double checking the measurement you have to see if this cover will fit. If not you can replace the vent base and top to ensure a correct fit. Camco makes a universal option # CAM42161 that will most likely fit in place of your current base. I've attached the dimensions to help you in this process. view full answer...
I was unable to determine the axle capacity or axle beam diameter of your Keystone Hideout, but given the 4500 lb GVWR, it could either be a 4400 lb axle which would have a 3 inch diameter and would use a 6 on 5-1/2 inch wheel bolt pattern, or it could possibly be de-rated to 4000 lbs which would give it a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. Either uses a 10 x 2-1/4 inch hub/drum.
Your best way to proceed would be to confirm the axle beam diameter by measurement and to confirm the wheel bolt... view full answer...
The Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Observation Camera System w/ Side Marker Light Cameras # FCE48TASL-05 can either be powered by the running lights (which is why you have to physically turn yours on) or off of the reverse lights, which means it would only power on when you put your vehicle in reverse. The way your camera system has been wired in is the most popular installation method as it will allow you to activate your cameras at any time.
As for the screen not viewing all camera views,... view full answer...
For your 2018 Keystone Hideout that has the tire size of 225/75D15 basically any tire and wheel in this size with the correct bolt pattern of 6 on 5-1/2 inch and you'd be set.
Our most popular option is the Westlake part # LHWL304 but I attached a link that shows all options we have that would fit. view full answer...
It's not acceptable to mix the load range of trailer tires on a trailer. It's also not really advised to upgrade the load range rating either as this will force you to increase pressure which will result in a rougher ride. The thing most people don't understand is that the total weight capacity of the trailer tires won't equal the GVWR of the trailer because there is still going to be 10-15% of the weight from the trailer carried on the vehicle via the tongue. For a quality 205/75-14 trailer... view full answer...
